| Over the last 23 years, I've
worked at a LOT of radio stations...in a LOT of places. The call
letters truly resemble alphabet soup. Believe it or not, I can
actually recite each and every one chronologically by heart! Out
of all those
cities, towns, burghs, boroughs and villages, my all-time favorite place
to live and work was - hands down - Chicago. There's just something
magical about that city. I am SO excited and proud to say that, after 10 years away, I have returned to the city I love so much! On April 1st (how fitting), I joined the team at 104-3 K-Hits in Chicago. Let's just say I've been circling the block for the last ten years, looking for the perfect spot. I've finally found it at WJMK! This will actually be my FOURTH run with CBS Radio, having previously worked at B94/Pittsburgh, KLUV/Dallas and KOOL/Phoenix! Here's a little info on my new station: That's right. I'm STILL playing the greatest hits of the
60's, 70's and 80's. So, if you listened to my show on 94.5
KOOL-FM, you'll LOVE the show on 104-3 K-Hits! Most of
my Chicago career was spent on-air in the evenings. Since it
worked so well the first time, the Jeffro Show returns weeknights
7p- Midnight (CDT). For those in Phoenix, that's 5p-10p (MST). |
