Grab a hump and HANG ON!!!

In case you missed the announcement, my 4.5 month vacation has come to a screeching halt, and I'm - once again - among the employed!  I've relocated from DC to Phoenix, and am SO excited to join the team at CBS Radio.

I'll be on the air weekday afternoons from 2p-7p (MST) at KMLE Country 108 starting Wednesday, January 13th!  For those of you in DC, MD and VA, yes...you CAN listen online!  Translated to the Eastern time zone, my show will run from 4p-9p.  (That's pretty darn close to my original 4p-8p show at WMZQ.)  Just click on the logo above.  Then, as they say, "GRAB A HUMP AND HANG ON!"

I DO need to give you a heads up that there will be a name change.  Don't expect to hear "Jeffro."  At KMLE Country 108, I've been christened "JJ!" It's funny how different radio stations want you to use different names.  When I started my career, I used "Jammin' Shawn Allan."  For a time, I was "JT Mason." I've even been just "Mason." At WMZQ, I was told NOT to use my last name.  But, now it's "JJ." Or, "Double J."  Or "J Squared." LOL...call me whatever you want.  You know you already DO!!!  Remember - the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

There's yet ANOTHER twist to this story that I haven't told you about...until now!  In addition to my afternoon show at KMLE, I'll be on the air 10a-1p (MST) at 94.5 KOOL-FM!  On the East Coast, that's Noon-3pm.  At KOOL, we play the Greatest Hits of the 60's, 70's and 80's.  Though, we mainly live in the 70's.  It has been 5 years since I've had the chance to play this kind of music on the air, and I LOVE IT!  I'll have a blast, and SO WILL YOU...because we stream online.  Just click on the logo above! 

Now, on KOOL, I will still be "Jeffrey T. Mason." Confused?  You won't be...after this week's episode of "SOAP!"  (OK, how's that for a timely reference?)  So, between 2 stations and 2 DJ names, you'll get me for 8 HOURS DAILY!  Is that too much?  Probably.  But, I'm a giver.  LOL

PS- the show on KOOL starts Monday, January 25th.  You're gonna love this.  We don't play the same 250 songs over and over.  The variety on KOOL-FM is HUGE!  And, most importantly, it's FUN.
